Project Details

Outline:

Creating a cohesive digital presence outlining areas and scope of work to attract more sponsors and collaborations.

Challenge:

CERC NEST required presentation under the larger banner of UofT, while maintaining its flair and ops structure as a stand alone entity.

Solution:

Brand and website development integrating components of UofT while ensuring and preserving CERC NEST's unique identity showcasing their research.

Results

The project was completed in Summer of 2025 in collaboration with Randal Boutilier of 12Thirteen Designs Inc. as per the requirements of UofT and CERC NEST teams. It currently doesn't have any significant numerical results.

Outline:

Creating a cohesive digital presence outlining areas and scope of work to increase revenue and attract more sponsors and collaborations.

Challenge:

The Catalyst required presentation under the larger banner of Ryerson University (and later TMU rebrand), while maintaining its flair and ops structure as a stand alone not-for-profit entity.

Solution:

Establishment of comprehensive design guidelines, standardized visual UI components and best practices, ensuring brand alignment and consistency across all initiatives.

User research, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points, optimizing navigation and information architecture flow, improving accessibility and usability.

Content marketing initiatives, producing high-quality blog posts, articles, and multimedia content. Design and implementation of customer-facing chatbot and training materials.

Project Details

Outline:

Creating a landing page report celebrating 5 year anniversary of the organization outlining areas and scope of work to attract more sponsors and collaborations.

Challenge:

Alignment of print and digital report that is cohesive in all elements.

Solution:

Brand, report asset and website development integrating components across digital and print domains, while reflecting the design collateral on content marketing pieces.

Results

Design and development of funding proposals and pitches that resulted in investment commitments of $15 million over 5 years from Rogers Communications, $1 million from RBC and $1 million from Mastercard, towards supporting Catalyst initiatives.

Project Details

Outline:

Creating an e-commerce website with customization platform for the merchandise, secure payment gateways, brand and asset development for deploment and marketing.

Challenge:

Design, development and deployment time for the entire brand and the e-commerce platform was 3 months.

Results

2500+ merchandise customization

integration of secure payment and shipping gateways with real-time updates across Canada and US.

Seamless automation of purchase orders generated and sent to whole sellers for inventory.

$27,000 revenue generated in the first week of deployment.

Project Details

Outline:

Creating an extensive and cohesive cybersecurity resources, development and upskilling platform for the government of Ontario with a comprehensive e-learning LMS platform integration with partner portals.

Challenge:

Extremely large scale design, development and production process with multi-layered approvals hierarchy. It had to also include ease of drag and drop LMS platform for future course designs and deployment.

Results

Over 2000+ users across the broader public sector affiliated to the Government of Ontario. The LMS functionality was designed and deployed on Moodle LMS for ease of future expansion and use.

Over 150 Cyber security education and awareness materials such as videos, tip sheets and articles designed.

Designed the general framework of the Annual Cyber Security Awareness Month campaign that supports include planning advice, sharing of campaign materials, and assistance with feedback collection and campaign analytics.

Creating a microsite to address the growing need for accessible cybersecurity resources with comprehensive e-learning modules. 

Solution:

Simply Secure offers the highest-quality resources and training that SMBs need to drive the cybersecurity of their organizations. These resources and training are designed to help SMBs become more cybersecure and turn their cybersecurity into a competitive advantage and positive differentiator.

Results

Creation of a suite of workshops and resources that included an extensive program handbook outlining industry best practices, 9 e-learning modules, 5 quick reference tip sheets, 3 cohesive industry led workshops.

It saw a positive impact across 450+ SMBs linked and affiliated to 7 organizations including Scale-up Institute RAP Toronto, Toronto Region Board of Trade, Brampton Innovation District, Ryerson Venture Zone, RIC Centre, Magnet, George Brown College.
